Tools for a Competent, Confident Workforce

My name is --------- . I am a junior at Emory University and I currently work at --------------. I met you yesterday at the Forum. I don’t know if you remember, but I sat with you for lunch and asked you for your business card after your workshop on resilience. I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed all of your presentations yesterday. Personally, I have been really discouraged with working hard and not receiving results. Although, after hearing your presentations I am so motivated to change my habits and improve myself to become the best I can be. I know this all may sound cliché but I truly appreciate what you have done for me and wanted to thank you for that. I was also wondering if you could be my mentor. I understand you have an extremely busy life and if you cannot I will not take it offensively.

Thank you once again and I hope to hear from you soon.

I wanted to provide you with some feedback after completing the emotional intelligence course in New York on December 7 & 8. I had to write and tell you how much I have already benefited from this course. In the past two weeks, I have had at least 8 highly emotional situations to manage where I have used the tools I learned from this course. Approaching these situations with emotional intelligence has made me so much more effective and successful in these situations. I feel a major difference in my vocal and body language, my demeanor, my attitude, just about everything. I am so happy to be able to say that this course has changed my life in a very positive manner, and I want to say thank you.

Best wishes for a happy holiday season and continued success in the coming year.

I found the Webinar today to be very good. The linking in was very slick, and easy to follow. I thought Wendy did a great job; she not only has the professional background but the personal experience which added so much interest and authenticity to the presentation. On top of it all she is very fun to listen to.

Thank you for your efforts to share this opportunity.

I’m so happy that -------- brought us together and you were able to present to our WIBF (Women in Business Forum) event today. As you observed, the room was buzzing as the women departed, which is always the best sign of a successful presentation. Your energy and passion clearly shine through what you do and, as you know, that makes it more real for the audience and leads them closer to a connection with the ideas you are presenting.

Personally, I thought it was great, and many of the attendees have already voiced the same to me.
